Remixed by prodigious young drummer Moses Boyd, this version of Eyes Open by Ty brings a dramatic and dynamic electronic sound markedly different from the original going into an experimental hiphop feel and giving a stark sharpness to the reality of the lyrics. The track is from Ty's album A Work Of Heart which has received significant airplay from stations including BBC 6 Music, Radio 1, BBC 1XTRA, Kiss, MiSoul and Capital, with the original single being supported by DJs including Tom Robinson, Alice Levene, Charlie Sloth, Trevor Nelson and Mistajam

Since the album's release, Ty has performed a European tour with Cypress Junkies and, following that, a UK Tour of his own. He recently performed at a festival in Hungary where his set was well-received.
